A yellow curvy heading towards Weybridge on Seven Hills Road? 8am

A Blue Pointy 07, in Ripley with a Hump pack. 0845ish?

and a grey pointy, around old Woking 0830ish(cant be many of them about?!)

I was that yellow curvy.

And get it right- Seven HELLS Road! It really is a pain if you don't make it to the front of the queue by the time the lights change, coming off Painshill Roundabout. 20mph on a 40 for a mile or so. DUUUUULLL!

Thought it may have been you, I was in my RX tho.

On a bike you have no excuse getting to the front! tut
have you tried carrying on to the next jct after passed the shell / brooklands?

It's just timing- if the filter light's red, then easy (depending on how many people have jumped the queue in the left lane and are angling to get back in*)

Sometimes I go the other way- not sure if it's any quicker, but more overtaking opportunities, so easier on the patience.

That bend in the road off of Painshill roundabout is an **** if it's busy though- nearly come a cropper a few times where people in the left lane decide they want to move out and jump the queue. Often without indicating first or even looking to see if there's anything coming. I think there should be a solid line between those lanes or just a big feckoff sign saying "Stay in lane".

It's lovely with no traffic though- hooning round that bend at 40 or 50 is a joy first thing in the morning.
