Default Despite the cold...

... I went out for a ride today. Took Katie on the back too. I have never riden with a pillion before as I have only had my license a few months and it was new for Katie too.

I took it easy and kept stopping to make sure she was ok and we ended up having a really good ride. Katie was very nervous to start with but really enjoyed herself, which is great cos I have already booked the Ferry for our trip to france in May!

Sounds like you were very sensible and sensitive to Katies needs.

Like the others have said, just be very careful today, and don't let your enthusiam overrule your head.

Nice one, the pair of you.

eyup gaz and katie,

could be worth looking at aftermarket seats for extra comfort on long journeys maybe? Everyone seems to rave about corbin seats on here and from the pics I've seen, they look proper smart just a thought & well done

We are going 4th-15th so will miss the GP but we will be traveling back not too far from Le Mans. We are going down to Saint Hillaire de Reiz in the Vendee for 5 days and will be bimbling around for the rest.

Hiya Paul, are they expensive as am not sure how long I will be keeping the SV for?

I want to do alot of touring two up so I will have to see how well it copes. Been looking at something like a 1250 Bandit S or a Fazer 1000 for the future.
