Lightbulb Should I get a bike licence?

Last night i was sat with the boyfriend looking at CBT's, I was learning to drive a car but because of redundancy i had to stop.
Although im not a full time driver i love my lessons. And have been considering for some time getting both licences, but it would cost way to much to swap between both motors when winter comes round.
My brother has a honda 125 and it is loverly, he rides it all the time, whatever the weather (i think its a man thing, he never says hes worried about being on the bike).!
Anyway - im not sure weather to do a CBT and get a 125..but then its choosing one, aprilia or a yamaha?
I liked the look of the New hondas but Lylej isnt too keen on those.
Or shall i just stick with driving and carrying on being pillion for a while?
Hmmm...I dont know! Any Ideas?

Being a pillion is a hateful experience. Do your CBT. And then get an RS125. YKIMS.

Go for it. Sooooooohohohohoho much cheaper and more fun.

And as Mr.Anderson says the Yamaha 125's look like R6's. I noded to one a few months back thinking it was a big bike until I saw the number plates in my mirror.

My only thought was niiiice.

We did the whole quote thing on the bikes too i think the cheapest full comp for the aprilia was 800 + which isnt too bad - i think the yamaha was similar too.
But then do i get a brand new'un or do i just go for a second hand jobby?!

Why's that matter, he wont be the one who is riding it

Do it, you wont regret it, even if you dont like it, at least this way you'll know and wont be thinking what if all the time.

That depends on how long you will be on a 125.

If it is a stepping stone to something bigger stick with a dirt cheap CG125 - you wont lose any money on one of those - they tend to be sellable for the same as you pay for them (if you pay about £500 that is)

Not really worth taking the hit that is depreciation on a new bike on something you will only have for 6 months.

But if you intend to ride it for about 2 years then probably worth it.
