Do touring styled textiles have any benefits over every day textiles?

Seems to me they just have more pockets/compartments than the latter?

dunno Mel, they cost more for the same thing.

Mine aren't touring textiles and I got soooo many pocket i get lost in my jacket

Why buy extra stuff to ride in when you've already got adequate stuff?

That's what I'm thinking. They do cost more, but I honestly cannot see why.

My current textiles are no longer adequate so I do need to get some new ones.
