Having a go at plastic welding.

after reading some old thread last night i decided i would give it a go.

this is one of my old panels i broke when i first got the bike, glad i didnt throw it out now. i just used a sodlering iron and some cable ties.
ive got a little more prep to go and then its ready for some paint. ive got a spare set of fairings not which im going paint my self.

nice one, i done the same thing but your panels are considerably more busted then mine where!

it was only that panel that was broke, ive got one more panel to fix when it arrives but that was the first one.

if im honest i didnt even think i was going to be able to salvage it, i was using it to practice for the ones that are in the post, it ended up so good that im going to use it and save my self buying another one.

Hmmm, plastic welding eh. I'll have to have a butchers at this, I could have a practice on my front hugger (disk lock issue when i first started riding)
