Re: db killer and the law?
For the can to be legal it needs to have a BS or E mark and number on it. So a "not for road use" can with a DB killer in it is not legal.

Quote:
an illegal can could pass an mot and meet the noise requirements for road use but still be illegal because it was produced for non EU markets...

what about some thing like this tho, e marked so meets europe std. but does it really make the can legal, at the end of the day its not the way the cans work which is illegal its the noise, if this e marked add on is going to chance the noise then im hopeing it makes the can legal. |

Re: db killer and the law?
It also depend if you have a "friendly" MOT man. I've seen a fully track prepped R1 (Racefairing, slicks, no lights etc) get a full MOT!
