Eyeball blue pointy - Menai Bridge

Saw a pointy heading into Menai Bridge from the direction of the scene of that bad crash today at 3.15, think it may have possibly been you Baph?

Aye, that would of been me. I was going to Shell for fuel after work.

It looks like that accident was a pretty bad one. Taken the tree out, and obviously a fatality.

So where were you hiding if you saw me? I did see a bike on the roundabout, but that wasn't an SV. I nodded anyway.

Nah, wasnt on the bike, although I had been about half an hour earlier! I just came off the roundabout heading in the opposite direction to you in the family-mobile - Green VW Passat estate

That accident was pretty bad, Im sure only the driver survived, although someone said he tried to hang himself apparently!

He must have been caning it down that hill to hit that tree at that speed!

Think I remember a green Passat, but only vaguely. IIRC, you came off the roundabout literally just as I came onto it? (the point where no-one seems to bother indicating where they're going).

The tree is chopped pretty high up to say a C2 hit it, there's also some marks on the floor that no doubt the police investigators will of seen.

Two survived the accident, according to the news both in hospital, one critically (passenger).

I know someone that crashed a C1 at about 15mph on ice, and that caused £3500 worth of damage. Not the best cars to crash in it seems.

Its all a bit grim really, but makes you think, can you really do that much damage in a 30 zone if you were actually doing 30?

Random bit of info: that was the exact spot that I did the push the bike round & u-turn part of my bike test.

I heard about this on the news. What a tragedy
