Default Borken Friction Plate

We were stripping down the motor to our soon to be minitwin race bike at uni today and found that one of the friction plates had actually broken into various pieces.

Just wondering if anyone else had ever had this happen to them as i've never seen it happen before...

Default Re: Borken Friction Plate

More than once, not that long ago on Bender's Yamaha for example. It wasn't really a problem as they're easily replaced - then he dropped a few broken bits inside the crankcase.

That made things a bit more complicated.
