Default Phone Line Experts?

I want to put a broadband router in the bedroom as it has a phone line going to it. The only thing is the phone line is stripped and has 4 cables - a green, an orange, a brown and a blue.

I don't know what to connect to that to allow me to connect the router to it, any ideas???

This is for the master socket, so has 6 wires not 4. But just plug in what you need.

I'd suggest getting the proper tool to push the wires into the little holder though. For the sake of a couple of quid it'll save a lot of effort.

Yup, but not two modems in use at the same time.

Sorry, the basic translation is no, you can't do what you want to do. You can only use 1 modem/router on the phone line at any one time.

Cheers when mine finally gives up the ghost (held together with wire and tape) I'll give it a try. Also an excuse to march round customers' armed.
