Liz has an XR1000, shes had it three years and the fit now is as good as the day we bought it. Can be a bit noisy due to the extra vents but IMHO a really good lid, If it fits your head at that price I'df snap it up.

Cheers Fizz....my HJC FG15 was quite noisy with it's vents and my mate has just bought one of these XR1000s and the vents look lower profile than the HJC so might be quieter...was a real problem after a few months with the HJC

I've just bought the exact same helmet. I was looking at it in a shop one day and it was £379 i believe, looked online the next day and couldn't believe I found it at £199 somewhere else, at that price i had to snap it up.
I find it ultra comfortable and light, with regards to the vents, I don't find it too noisy at all, and certainly nowhere near as noisy as my previous HJC i had. At £199 if it fits your head correctly, you can't go wrong i think! |

I have an XR1000, kagayama paint. does work well with glassses, like CH00 says, and is mega comfy for my head. I would recommend it to anyone who felt comfortable in it, lots of features (visors, pinlocks etc), and good warmth ventilation. little cold in winter, but what isnt.......

Nice helmet but stupidly noisy.
Get over 100 and its like someone is screaming in your ear if you dont have ear plugs in. Only seems to be a poble on the left hand side. I'm not sure if it has something to do with the mechanisms and locks being on that side.
