and a remarkable amount of patience, I've replaced the chain adjuster bolts.
The rhs bolt was totally rounded- was a process of file a slot, spray with penetrant, tap with a hammer and try and unscrew. Had to keep refiling the slot as it rounded as I got to tight bits. Got new allen socket bolts in- stainless steel. Bigger and deeper allen socket- much better! Now to get the shagged chain replaced at payday and I'll be a happier D! |
