Default Mablethorpe Sand Racing

Made it for the first time this season - I love the smell of methanol in the morning!!!!

An absolute giggle as usual and my first proper ride out of the year.

Sadly 29th is that last one - roll on October

I used to love goin to watch this when i lived with my parents, was usually bloody freezin tho cos of it bein run over winter. Remember seein a guy use an old triumph road bike with knoblies on, he used to nail it past everyone on the straights an get passed again when he had to slow right down in the bends very entertaining!!

Used to go when I lived in Grantham - can honestly say, I have NEVER been as cold as I was stood on that beach watching my mate on his YZ racing round ...well, apart from the time I jetski'd at Brandsburton in the winter race series in January - threw up because I was so cold ...

Some interesting stuff on the sand racing though - speedway bikes always seemed to be the best bet from my memory

Spokey
