Post Lidl tank bag

Just been to Lidl in Wrexham and got myself a tank bag for the Ireland trip. Not sure about the name emblazoned on the side though!!!
Let you know how it holds up

hmm might have to nip and see if there is anything left in the whitchurch one being smaller than most, lots of stuff already been ransacked though apparently so hadn't bothered, might wait for the Aldi stuff but have given me hope, nice diversion for my route home tonight too
I got a tank bag from one of the two of them last year, 2-3 layers with map pockets and stuff, really good, use the base one for my camera accessories, but so much storage with the full thing and my top box
hope it stands up to use, haven't used mine much but so far its doing fine.

Cheers Brettus, it looks like it can hold a fair bit when expanded, plus i needed the map pocket on top! (believe me). To be fair £18 aint bad either. Quite a few in the baskets in Wrexham, looks like the rainsuits have sold well, all bar one size M left, talked to the checkout girl and one guy bought 10 of them!! They be on ebay soon at an inflated price i bet

Heh yeah typical that people buying up loads, seems to be becoming more prevalent. I'm hoping for a rain suit so saved me wondering about wrexham at least
aldi have them in this weekend if all else fails.
sounds like a good run to ireland, just for the trip itself or an event?

Just for the trip itself, so look out for plenty of pics on our return...Mind you we aint going till June. Just sorting out how things fit on the bike so i got it down to 10 minutes of a morning instead of like 2 hours and pleas of help to .org members........as Mike (luckypants) can testify!

If you struggle to get stuff in Wrexham, you can come over to Denbigh Lidl as they often have stuff left over. Also Aldi in Mold is less busy to you might get something there.

And there's one in Shrewsbury too, on the north side of town so you don't have to go into the centre.

I got a cheap tank bag from Busters last year, the only problem was that it didn't have the straps so you could use it as a rucksack. The Lidl one looks OK but doesn't seem as big as the one I got.
