Default Le Mans - Multiple Spottings - Tuesday 14 April

Was visiting Le Mans in the afternoon and spotted several SVs - thought I'd see if any happened to be any of you lot

Yellow Curvey: Without an engine, being pushed up a hill by two people near Pontlieue tram station.

Bronze Pointy: Outside 'Theatre Municipal' turning right at the junction there.

Silver Curvey: Parked infront of C&A, with a 'SVS' sticker on the front, didn't look like a standard paint job either.

Blue Pointy: In the central square, parked infront of the LCL building (next to McDonalds)

I'm gutted to tell you....none of them's mine!! For the last three years, I have been over for the 24hr, but....sniff.....sniff, this year I'm giving it a miss. How I regret that decision now. I love the French/motorbike mix! At least parts of it will be on Eurosport, but you just can't beat being there! The famous Le Mans start..., KTM are going to be racing there this year..., BMW's racing the last couple of years (so easy to pick out - even lying in your sleeping bag, half-dozing at 4 in the morning!). Aaargh! Why did I decide not to go?? At least, I'm off to the Bol in September.
Have a great time....I'm really jealous!

If you spot a pointy 650 in Gauloise rep paint, please take a picture and post it on here!

Anyone else watching this on Eurosport, just now? If not YART is first, SERT is second and a Superstock entry (Junior Suzuki 72) is third. Phase one and GMT94 are out. Long way to go yet though!

Steve Plater has managed to get the Honda France bike up to 3rd (they had been running in 9th a couple of hours ago. Last lap was 1min 38 secs.
Ah! it's like the good old days, when Hizzy used to be faster in the dark than he was during the day!

How ironic! Le Mans has persisting down weather.....and over here it has been absolutely gorgeous. Makes me feel a little bit better about not being over there anyway. As for SERT coming in third....beaten by a Honda....oh dear!
Cool that one of the winners, Gwen Giabbani (a bloke!) is a French SWAT guy and races Endurance bikes for a hobby!!

It did look fairly modified, but I'm not sure if the forks were GSXR ones or not...
