Hi,
Can you adjust the stock rear suspension on a 2001 SV650S to stiffen it up for a pillion? |

You can adjust the rear pre-load only. If you find the shock sits too low with a pillion, adding a couple of steps of pre-load may well help.
It won't however, adjust the damping or stiffness of the spring. Jambo

Just so you know.
The adjuster for the shock is just above the spring and you will see that it goes up in stages. You will need a c spanner for this to do it safely |
