Default Which 600 supersport?

Almost had my SV a year now and had no intention of upgrading until I went past the dealer on the way home today and just thought I would have a look around. And a few bikes caught my eye and got me thinking about upgrading. Just wanting any views on people that have moved on to other bikes and any feedback would be much appreciated.

Looking at either:

R6
CBR-RR
GSXR 600
Daytona 675

ive checked insurance wise and it will be about 200-300 more than the SV, the daytona is the most expensive all the others are about the same.

depending what I can get for my k8 (any ideas what a k8 reg 07/08 with 5000 miles is worth?) I could put another 1-2k, or get an older bike and not put as much in, but only thinking at this stage.
How easy will it be to get test rides with only been riding for a year?

I voted 600rr because I have one

The triumph is probably the best looking out of the bunch, but I ended up not getting one and getting the 600rr instead, because the 675 was uncomfortable for me, I felt to tall for it even though its quite a tall bike, and reliability issues.

I voted Daytona all the way, its beautiful. Its my next bike after my pointy. As for test rides, i didn't have a problem test riding a brand new RSV mille when i had been riding for only 6 months. Maybe it depends on the dealer?!?

Depends on age.......most places you would never actually consider buying a bike from let anyone test ride a bike. Most actual proper dealers dont let people under 25 test ride I have found, usually for insurance reasons.

GSXR600 for me , read alot of reviews the gsxr and cbr are the best road going bikes. But depends what you want ofcourse, they are all cracking bikes the new kwak is suppose to be a stonker of a bike but again more track focused!!!

I've got my eye on a ZX6R - not ridden any of them yet, but just fancy a kwak. How come it's not on the poll - not interested in one?

What are reasons for wanting an upgrade?

I have my Sv for about 18 months or so nearly 12000 miles now. Myself I feel like I'm getting to know my bike and how it works. I feel confident enough to throw it around it does everything I ask.

For me I live in the suburbs of city myself I feel won't get the best out a Super Sports. You will be amazed at the performance you can get out of something like an an SV.

I have rode an R6 and a ZX6 both 08 plates I had fun on em.

If you can afford it, without wanting for the basics in life go for it!

Its your life your an adult, live it how you want we only get one go at it! Let us know how it works out.
