Default To rim tape or not to rim tape?

so was trying to decide if red rim tape would look good on my bike or just abit tacky? what do you recon?

Also does anyone know if you can get a red seat for a curvy? (would only be considering a red seat if i added rim tape aswell)

I think it'd look better as it is (looks awesome ), but it's your bike.

Looks amazing like that..

Don't ruin it with tape, I did it to my last bike, and regret it.
Also the stuff doesn't come off..

Heat gun and a blade..
Brake cleaner, petrol, turps, solvent removerer all failed.

So did I..

6 months of winter riding, cleaned it, was away to sell it.

Decided I should reomve the rim tape as I only did one side, ran out of tape..

The stuff just didn't come off..

Last time i tried to remove the bloody stuff, I ended up using Nitromoors & polishing the rims - still, it looked good afterwards.

The GSX-R came ready rimmed, it's quite good quality so perhaps dealer fit? I like the way it lightens the all balck and contrasts with the badges, especially the red R. If it hadn't come with it I wouldn't have bothered but I think it looks ok and quite subtle:
