I have a CB500 in the garage that I had an accident on last year. The forks have twisted ever so slightly - you wouldn't notice by looking until you come to ride the bike and realise your right arm is marginally further forward than your left! The wheel is pointing about 2* to the right when the handle bars are held straight.
Is there anyway to fix this on the cheap? I didn't pay much for the bike (winter hack) so I don't want to spend much to fix it, but I could do with selling it ASAP. |

are the forks simply twisted in the yokes or are they bent? if twisted in the yokes try to realign it all by undoing the yoke clamp bolts (place bike on a front stand first)

Thanks for those replies, I think it will help me out a lot. The forks are definately not bent, so hopefully this should sort it.
Cheers. |
