All speedos will over estimate, legaly they can be over but never under. The rule of thumb is about 10% out. I've done a run on my bike and seen 107 on the clock but got home and downloaded the data from my Inforad which showed the highest speed to have been 99. The inforad is a GPS system so how accurate or out that is i dont know.

HTH a bit?

Bike speedos are notoriously inaccurate for overreading. Hey, at least it means you're less likely to be done by a scamera van!
