Greetings, welcome to the site, might be an idea to add your location to your profile (still live on the IOM?), perhaps meet up with someone local to you.

Cheers Mark.

ignore her, she's the local wench welcome to the site mate, there's one or two in newcastle and a fair few dotted along the north east (several in middlesbrough) so have a look in the "Pennine Massive" regional section as it more or less coves anywhere from chesterfield upto newcastle.

We've got a rideout planned for sunday july 26th starting in York and heading north up towards northallerton, then across to leyburn and down to ripon. There were 25 of us last time and it's more the merrier, any bike and any level of experience welcome. Finger's crossed you can get a bike sorted in time

Well, of course we are biased but SV650's are great bikes, very reliable engine and everything else works well. They do require a bit of looking after though...its noted across many manufactures that build quality has got worse in the past few years.

A CBR600f i think is a great bike, i'd love to have one...if I wanted to get rid of my SV (which in all honesty I dont but i will have to one day).

Welcome to the forum what VFR400 did you have? My dad recently rebuilt one, an NC24. great little bikes, really lovely engines

Matt

As far as i remeber it was a nc 24 imported version beutiful to ride great hadling and excelent runner quite happy at potttering around town and great on the IOM course used to ride out with my friend on his 1000cc kwacker keeping up on the twists was easy enough although he could leave me standing on the straights if wanted to but with a top speed in the region of 120-130mph it was no sluch where the accelration was concerned
