Hyosung GT650R?
What do people think of the Hyosung GT650R?
Excellent value for money and style for the open brand minded, or cheap nasty imitation that's gonna lunch its engine after 2000 miles? What d'you reckon? cheers Daz |

Re: Hyosung GT650R?
i like em they look nice but quality is poor, if your a dry weather rider and you look after your machine then they could be a good bargain buy.

Re: Hyosung GT650R?
i very nearly went for one over the sv but a few stories over quality put me off, plus i couldn't find one close enough to look at and then fell in love with the sv when i saw it!

Seen an 08 in black with less than 2k miles at a dealer for less than £3k, so am very tempted. |

Re: Hyosung GT650R?
yes the finish and the parts are cheaper than the sv! two wheels on men and motors tested the 2 head to head and said the sv was the better buy.

Potential improvements in quality and manufacture in the 2 years since those posts, but then again maybe not! Damn, it seemed so good too, but as they say 'if something seems too good to be true, it usually is' |

Re: Hyosung GT650R?
i've had a gooood look at one.. the forks are damper USD and not cartrage. the finish is not bad (is suzuki's finish better?) they look really nice in the flesh. would i buy one... NO, reason - spares issue.

Re: Hyosung GT650R?
BIKE magazine compared a brand new one to a god knows how old and neglected curvy SV
the SV was still the better bike... get a 2nd hand SV, the amount you save isn't worth it IMO
