Bluetooth GPS units.
Expansys have these going cheap tomorrow.
These units are generally better than those in your phone/pda, connect via bluetooth (so you could wire one in under the seat/fairing and forget about it). Almost an essential if you use TomTom or Garmin on an Nokia. I used something similar on my N95 and it was great, which cost me £35. Note: I am not on commission  and mods, feel free to move if posted in wrong place.
