Default New Horn?

Hi all,

I find the stock horn to be a bit pathetic, to say the least! On several occasions drivers have failed to hear it.

Can anyone recommend a decent, loud horn?

And where can I purchase such a big hooter?

Happy times ... and my next question is, how/where does one install it? Does it fit where the stock horn is mounted?

I think the magnum is a straight swap

The Nautilus is louder but the design means it draws more current than the wiring can handle and so requires a relay

So long as the magnum is a lot louder than the OEM horn, it'll do me just fine! Thanks.

Oh it'll be plenty loud enough I'd have thought, the Nautilus is so loud it's difficult to describe, the magnum isn't that much quieter

Is there room for one on a bike?

Excellent - so it just mounts directly onto the bracket behind the radiator? (I'm reading the Haynes manual as I type ...)

Sounds like a 5 minute job!

I will go and have a look at the bike in the morning - it's in the garage and I don't want to get my bunny slippers dirty.
