I hope he realises now why Yamaha are not willing to pay him the "extra zeros" they pay Rossi...
He has got to learn to stay upright and win before he starts crying about his pay-cheque |

Lorenzo will without doubt one day be top dog, but will it be because he got better, or Rossi drew his pension....?

I like Lorenzo, but I fear his arrogance in this early part of his career could cost him dear. I just hope he does the right thing and sticks with Yam. If he throws his toys out of the cot and goes to a lesser outfit, he may find himself with an uncompetitive machine.

Lorenzo has been demanding Yamaha pay him a sallery equal to Rossi's, or he'll go to another team. Repsol Honda looked likely for a while.
Since then he's been beaten by Rossi, and at the Brno Chezch GP he crashed out while trying to push the pace to a point where he could shake Rossi. Lorenzo is an exceptionally tallented rider, who seems to really suit the Yamaha, however, Repsol have now signed Dovi and Pedrosa for next season, leaving Lorenzo without an obvious 2nd competative outfit to go to. In his place I'd stick with Yamaha, he's maturing rapidly as a rider, I know everyone loves to see Rossi win (me too) but Lorenzo has been able to carry the same impressive pace this season. He may have made a few mistakes but he's getting more consistent and has huge pace on that bike. Jambo

As a side note - How cool were the "airbag" leathers he was wearing!?

i was intrigued because they claim the suit can be deflated after the accident so you can get back on the bike, yet when lorenzo was in the pits it was still fully blown up and he looked uncomfortable with it blown up around his shoulders |

I'm surprised that Repsol signed Pedrosa again. I know that Honda would have been under pressure to stick with Pedrosa due to the Repsol link and them wanting to sign a Spanish rider but I can only think that they were backed into a corner to do so after the only alternative (Lorenzo) trading Yamaha and Honda off so much that Honda just got sick of it.
