Default quick led indicator related question

I know I know this has been done to death but my question is slightly unique and I don't trust myself enough with electrics to work it out myself.
From reading other threads I've assertained that the light blue & brown wires are for indicators on my pointy.
The kit I have to install are led indicators allround and a led flasher unit. Am I right in saying I am to disconnect the blue and brown wires from the pointy's relay (whereever that is) and wire the flasher unit between them?

Next question...the current set up; currently I have standard indicators at the rear and a modified headlight where there are orange bulbs (I think...unless they are large dim leds) in the sidelight holes however the original bulbs are also wired in out of sight, I'm assuming this is to keep the flash rate normal however does that suggest the bulbs in the headlight are infact LEDs?
And any advice on wiring in my front indicators would be useful too. (they're actually led mirror indicators so if anyones fitted any of those before wouldn't mind some advice before I hit n' hope).
Ideally I'd like to keep the indicators in the headlight working alongside my LED setup but if that's not possibly I might just disconnect the lights.

Cheers

Flasher unit probably replaces the existing relay.

If its an LED flasher, you might need to swap to LEDs at the back as well. Not a big deal, because I think I've seen mine from the SV recently (probably attached to the tail tidy with the number plate). If you want them, you can have them.

Probably the stupidest question I'm ever going to ask on here but can some one just confirm which way round these mirrors should go!
It's definitely like this

and not like this

right?

The writing on the glass is the right way up in the format of the lower pic...but after thinking long on hard about it I think the lower pic just looks wrong

Edit: infact now I'm starting to think the lower picture is right

Cheers ollie but I've bought LED indicators allround (mirror front) , rear ones (same as I had on the curvy - always thought they'd suit a pointy) and Richie's just given me the good news that the headlight ones are infact LEDs

Cheers, might go with that then - anyone else have any input?

Got them from the local shop a while ago only just got round to fitting them think they were about £40 the pair (bit cheaper than gsxr ones!)

Right, problem. Wired in all the led indicators; they work fine off the hazard lights when I use the remote (datatool alarm) but if I turn on the ignition and either indicate or use the hazards they just stay on solid. Anyone have any ideas?

The fact they work on the remote but not otherwise suggests flasher unit to me. I've tried the flasher unit both ways round but it makes no difference either way. when I installed it I chopped the light blue and brown wire out of the bike's relay and connected the wires going toward the relay through my new flasher unit.
It's the same flasher unit I used when I converted to LEDs on my curvy, the pointy doesn't have different requirements or something stupid does it? I think I had a similar problem on the curvy momentarily but solved it pretty soon - forget what it was though Suspisions that the flasher unit was connected the wrong way round.

Any ideas anyone?
