Bike stolen from Bolton area

"After a great weekend with good humans, I was saddened, shocked and upset to arrive home to my house from work tonight broken into and my bike stolen. This happened during the day and with my much loved dogs in the house. Thank God they are ok, albeit a bit nervous as they have clearly been abused somehow. The theives had gone through my whole house looking for the key and have also taken 3 helmets, my alpinstars boots and gloves. They have left all other valuables apart from my late Fathers Nikon camera. They went in through my kitchen patio doors and dragged it through the house. It has obviously been a targetted professional job - scary.

It is a black 2008 ZX6 R with trackday fairings currently fitted, sprint steering damper, scorpian end can, power commander, Giles rearsets. I know its probably a lost cause but please keep your ears open and I would really appreciate it if some of you guys could post this on any other forums you use. Many of you know the bike from trackdays.

What is odd is that they have concentrated on bike stuff only, so are they trackdayers, racers? why take second hand helmets, gloves and boots? They had clearly gone to take my leathers too until they presumably saw how they are personalised as they were left in the middle of a room on the floor.

I am too upset to post this elewhere so if you can put the word about please do. It was stolen from the Westhoughton area of Bolton, Lancs."
