I like the RR's on track, not tried the standard ones.

Parp
they are OE fitment on Street triples, could'nt wait to get them off. Ok in the sunny heat. Crap in all other areas, ages to warm (if at all) if its any more than damp they will slide / spin. I had the french ones which are sopposed to be better than the japaneese ones. They have recently bought out the qualifer 2 which on thier test circuit knocked 8 seconds a lap off. (so not that much room for improvement then!?!) |

Dunno what the qualifiers are like but you could have got avon storms for the same price.
I had 208rrs and weirdly found the avons better.

I have a pair of dunlop qualifiers on my sv and to me they feel like there going to slip once you lean the bike to a certain angle but somehow they just hold on in there

I've got them on my SV and they get along just fine. They don't have the ultimate grip around a circuit as the RR's or the GP's but they have a wider range of operating temperature so I personally think they are a better road tyre. I must confess i haven't tried them in the rain (I use Avon Pro-Rains when it's wet) but they're as good as anything else in the damp.

The Gladius I had had these fitted as standard. I know the OE fitment ones aren't as good as the ones from the Dunlop factory but I found them good.
I never really got to ride the bike in properly dry or hot weather, but they gripped fine in the wet and warmed up rather fast. I was impressed. |
