Lily, we're all sending you guys love from here. I'm with Stretchie, Squirrel, Mac99 and Anna and we heard the news the same time as Lily and Drew. I did not expect this unbelievable news when I was calling hospitals and Police stations. He should be here with us now and this is just such a massive shock to us all.

We are devstated and send all our love to his family.

Rest in peace Dave, we loved you and we'll miss you xxx

We got a call on Hovis' phone from James, a family friend, as I'd been trying to ring and text him. He was due at our house hours ago.

He said it may be of little/no consolation but the police and ambulance crews said that at least the accident was instantaneous and he wouldn't have suffered.

I said we are from the forum and James kept my number and said he'll be in touch with funeral arrangements as soon as they know.

This was my initial reaction, but I know Lily well enough to know she'd never of posted anything like this in jest.

RIP Hovis.
