Just landed a new contract :)
Happy days!!
I have heard today that I have just been given this to run as a refurbishment project:-  The first stage is worth just over 750k and theres 3 stages to it  I have always loved working within heritage projects as its something very different from the schools, houses and hospitals I have been involved with for the last few years. I'm starting with a new company (but the MD is a good friend and knows my work well) as a freelance project manager but when their new offices open in Warwick early next year I will be permanently employed and working from this end of the world. All the usual trappings, Car + Fuel, Health, Laptop and Blackberry (yuck) Oh, and I've just doubled my income too Its been a hard year and I have been getting so stressed with the work situation When out of the blue, I'm handed a right Gem Beers are on me guys! |

Well done! Getting any new project in the building industry is damned hard these days. And being self-employed is equally hard, especially when all you hear is people complaining about how bad their boss is.
