Hi,
The pic below is of the plugs just removed from my curvy both now replaced with nice new ones. The one on the left is from the front , the one on the right from the back, the one from the back had a thick sticky oil on the thread but the end looks ok, is this a sign of anything? - Thanks ![]() |

Nah looks alright, maybe a tiny weep from cam cover gasket but if it's not dripping out then leave well alone.
Did you use some anti-sieze on the new threads?

no I must admit I didn't although I never even thought about using some, didn't even know such a thing existed tbh, I'm not a spanner type person more of a dangerous person with spanners.
