Usually at the slave cylinder (or it is on all the bikes I've had). Can you follow the line down from the lever to where it enters the engine. I bet you there will be a bleed nipple tucked away somewhere.

Hi Kwak its sounds like the same position as the one on the sv1000 on the left side. Black with a nipple over on.
This sounds like the same problem http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/Pr...utch-slipping/

humm sounds like that might be the problem, the bikes at my mates house but i will check this out next time i go to sort it for him.
when you try to ride the bike its like putting the bike ingear with virtualy no clutch and the bikes pulling already with the clutch in when it should be stationary? he had the bike stolen but was recovered and all this has happened because the bikes stood while we've fixed it back up, the clutch isnt nacked because the theifs never even got the bike started. |

Could be sticking clutch plates. My ZX7R does it when its been sat for a bit. Just give it some stick when you put it in gear the first time so it don't stall. It should free up after a while. new clutch plates maybe a better solution but I am cheap

Kwak, when the bike was nicked it might have ended up on its side. Operating the clutch in that position can introduce air into the line as the master cylinder on the bars will not have fluid covering its take off point. Sounds like bleeding at the slave cylinder on the engine will cure it.

When was the last time the oil was changed? When my bike sat unused for 8 weeks, I had problems with gear changes etc which was only cured until after the oil was changed.
In any case, bleed new fluid through i guess ![]() |

As said the bleed point is on the slave cylinder, once you get mostly fluid in the line there is no need to bleed them in the same way you to the brakes as the far greater fluid movement does it for you.
If it hasn't been used for a while it could have rusted the push rod (I'm assuming its similar to the SV but with a hydraulic slave) and its returning too far. I also found with the VFR though that the fluid got well manky (faster than brake fluid) and a change of fluid made a massive difference. Druid
