Sorry if this has been done, but a quick search revealed nothing helpful.
Got a pointy 650, need this bike in perfect working order for friday... ... however tonight I thought it'd be a good idea to investigate my weird feeling clutch took the gunged up wormdrive out (worst front sprocket cover *ever*, literally saved a kilo by scraping it out) anyway, short of it is there a three ball bearings missing from the worm drive, I've found two. Questions are: 1) Can I just sit the bearings I've found in place and get away with it? 2)if not, where can I get what I need to fix it ASAP?

Probably get away with it but it might feel a bit scrapy.

Answered the first question myself, it appears to work.
Could still do with buying in a spare wormdrive(?) for under the seat... Is it just the whole worm drive mech. I need or is there just a bearing insert available? Cheers

I think the actual part wears more than the balls. Think it comes as a lump. Keep meaning to see if the fluid clutch from slabside will fit but not got round to it.

Just space the little bearings around as much as you can so there is equal coverage . On a side note I was tearing my hair out trying to sort mine out in the summer , I`d only fitted it back on the wrong way round ..................doh .

The worm drice comes as a whole two part unit when you order from Suzuki. I had to get a new one after loosing more of said balls!

Silly question but can't you just pick up the bearings from a cycle shop or something?
