Default Honda VTR1000 Firestorm SOLD

Hello all

First dibs to people on here for my cracking storm in go faster yellow.

I've owned this bike for almost 18 months and it makes me grin every time I ride it...something to do with the noise, I think

Not had any problems at all. Only selling as I'm after a ZRX1200 and a certain person thinks that 3 bikes down the side of the house will look messy

Nice tidy, low-mileage bike with the only minor bad bits that it has a slight chip in the fuel tank and one of the bands round the right-hand can has lost a rivet.

  • Registered 2001
  • 9600 miles
  • Tax to end of March
  • MOT to August
  • Art cans (standards included)
  • Renthal bar mod (standard clip-ons included)
  • Pirelli Diablos with plenty of life left
  • £2,000 ono - PM me with an offer or to come and view. The bike's in West Sussex
Here are a few pics taken today (hence the slightly dingy light)

Renthal bars

Fairing trimmed to accommodate turn of bars

Dink in tank. Over-enthusiastic fuelling by former owner, I guess

Right hand can could do with a new band - sorry forgot to rotate the pic

Just purchased a 98 storm myself and i'm loving it now i have fitted manual cam chain tensioners. Awesome bikes, different to the SV to ride (too) much more top end speed. I gave mine a first fistful (on a private runway of course) and it flew past the 140mph mark still pulling hard and it was rock solid all beit a bit scary. Anyone who wants advice on weather to buy, i say get one!

Looks lovely by the way and a bargain for that mileage, free bump and good luck with the sale!

Looks a great bike. Where abouts are you in West Sussex - I'm in worthing and might have a mate who'd be interested.

Will send him the link
Cheers

Yeesh- that's gorgeous!

If only I had the cash and wasn't in the process of improving my SV for a couple more years usage!

Sorry ET- I know this doesn't help much. Good luck selling though...
