Default Solicitor name and shame, and a thumbs up

I had an off in March last year and to cut a long story short, a mini-bus taxi did a u-turn in front of me while I was overtaking a very long traffic jam. This was my very first accident as a car and bike rider so I didn't have much of a clue as to what and how things happen after the event. So, my insurers got Michael Halsall solicitors to take my case on. And from the first phone call with them I was advised that I would almost certainly be at least 80% liable for the accident (quoted Powell V Moody ). The amount of time and effort I have spent trying to get them to work for me got me totally peed off by December so I looked into what I could do about it and I found that I could change solicitor at any time if I was unhappy with the service. So I did just that. Having searched about a little bit I came across White Dalton (who I have seen mentioned several time here). Today I got a call from Mr. Dalton himself to say that I have a very strong case and that he was going to be representing me in court, and that he will be going for a 100% outcome (Davis V Shrogin) in my favour. He has explained what and how things we be developing and has done more for me in the space of a few weeks (with a Christmas holiday inbetween) that Halsalls did in nine months! He couldn't believe how much work I had had to do and set my mind at rest over his comitment to getting a result for me.
So. If you are unfortunate to get into a claim situation, make sure that you contact a dedicated motorcycle claims firm to deal with it. For me White Dalton win big points, but I'm sure that there are others that will do a good job too. And stay away from Michael Halsalls. As Mr. Dalton quite rightly pointed out - Halsalls have to buy their cases from insurers, White Dalton don't need to.
Now I just need to wait for a court date and see what the defence come up with

Since we're naming and shaming - comercrawley in norfolk.
2 years to get a result, unhelpful and didn't bother to ring the witness who changed his number in the time inbetween.

Just thinking, if you're gonna get sued for naming and shaming anyone on the net this is the thread for it!

Since were naming and shaming...

White dalton were and still are failing to return my calls and emails even though I'm paying for their "services".

They gave me the same old talk about others buying their cases too..

Shame I don't do personal injury. But I'd be way out of my depth, it's not something I've ever done. And as for paying these claims farmer ambulance chaser people for work

I used to be a Personal Injury Legal Secretary - very interesting work
I loved that job - wish i hadn't given it up - I'd go back to it if I could find something local
