Default Why do bicycles get bus lane sign 'green lights'?

...when they cycle the opposite way down one way streets?!?

They can get their road signs if the police adhere the rules of the road to cyclists. It annoys me how cyclists get road signs given to them when they can do anything they want anyway without some sort of restriction.

I ride down a lot of one way streets here in central London, and I'm always dodging cyclists.

Stick to the rules of the road or get of 'em me thinks!

(not generalising all cyclists that is as I'm sure there are some law abiding cyclists here. It's just I bump into a lot that don't stick to the rules of the road!)

I love the way they jump RED lights........
its just when....not if.
Every one, well most every one stops.. and they sneek through as though red light dont mean them.

Fit a mentally loud horn and see if you can knock any off with it as you pass

coz most of them are mindless morons who cant get a car or bike licence as they are to stupid.

i dont mind proper cyclists who know the highway code and ride with care and attention to other road users. but the a'holes who use their bikes to terrorise other road users are just morons. another hate of mine is why do those stupid fekers who think they are in the tour de france every weekend take up the whole road? why do they feel the need not to put their foot down at traffic lights and junctions?

All generalisations are wrong, including this one!

Face it folks you hate us because we look way cooler that you, with our skin tight Lycra squeezing every last inch of fat into our butts.

You hate us because we don't pay Road Tax!

Actually you don't pay road tax either, it was scrapped years ago, you pay vehicle excise duty and roads are paid for by Council Tax, which we all pay.

We all know that London cyclists are mental though, you have to be to risk riding a bike through that traffic. The fumes they breath in must have an effect on the pulmonary system, it must be like smoking fags. Think I will stick to cycling in the countryside thanks, well away from roads.

haha but seriously.

They have signs for bicycles yet no real road laws, ie they can cycle as they want.
Makes the signs kinda pointless no??

hhhmmm, as far as i was led to believe cyclists come under the same laws as other road users. the police dont want to waste their time fining these morons as they dont have a registration that links the bike to them or an address.
