Default Bike transport

Prices to be exact.

just won a vfr 750 thats down in torbay, i live in surrey.
Cant pick it up at all and the guy wants almost £300 to deliver it.

roughly a 350 mile round trip.

Sounds like abit of a rip to me so can any one recomend a bike transport service??

looking for reliability and good prices.

Thanks brock.

Less than a pound per mile in a van, £75 for fuel, a mans wages for the day £80,cost of van insurance/tax/maintenance and depreciation £15 per day= total cost £170.

Must be cheaper to have a day off and ride it back unless you are on excellent wages

I'm off to Torbay next weekend so may be able to help out. I live in Wiltshire so would cut the distance between you and the bike down a bit, it would invlove me riding it back though; not sure whether you'd want that?

PM me if you want.

Loads of mans with vans on ebay, I had quote from manchester - molesey, was circa £100-£130

depends if they can double up jobs in the area. being a peninsular it'll probably be a little more expensive,
