It could have been alot worse. maybe the police thought he was a terrorist and was about to
...engage inbound bogies and terminate with extreme prejudice...
or
"Ghost Rider, this is Strike. We have unknown aircraft inbound Mustang. Your vector zero-nine-zero for bogey" (Top Gun Thread... )

sorry, I agree, handbake on and waiting at traffic lights... !!! The police man must have been having a bad day.

Thinking about it, how on earth have i avoided not sneezing in my helmet O.O

I thought that if your engine's running and you are in traffic and don't have two hands on the wheel then you aren't in control. Someone must know the hardline rules.

This is uber crazy communist policing but it probs doesn't happen a lot.

Assuming there is nothing more to this story than the press are telling us...

Quite rightly the guy is on a publicity spree telling the world how utterly ludicrous this is. He was even on breakfast telly this morning. Things like this do not do the police any favours in the public's eye and will no doubt make cretinous types ask why they were not out solving "real" crimes.

news is sooo depressing, that link is quite funny but reading the other headlines is a real drain.
