I tried a Arai over the wknd and found it to be a very good fit compared to a Shoei xr1000, which fits ok around my head but way to tight for my face
![]() both Viper GT and Chaser fitted well, head and face, but apart from the one extra vent on the Viper GT, what I'm getting for a extra £50? ![]() cheers, |

I think I've got a Viper GT, from memory the chaser just has less vents, isn't drudi design (correct me if I'm wrong) and doesn't have the pull out wind deflectorthat covers your chin, which I find pretty handy

the viper and the Rx7 are both designed with racing primarily in mind, the chaser and condor are the road biased ones, the racing ones have better venting and weight saving, the road are supposedly quieter and cheaper.
Cheers Mark.

tired them on again today, a medium Chaser fitted well but I need a large Viper to fit my head! more importantly I can only wear my glasses with the Chaser, with the viper my glasses don't rest on my nose, even if the viper has better specs its no good for me if I can't see well!
Chaser it is then, will see if Ally Pally have any good deals next wknd ![]() edit: also tried a shoei XR1100, it doesn't even have slots for glasses!! Last edited by Lucas; 18-02-10 at 10:02 PM. |

The slots for glasses are crap if you don't wear glasses, they funnel bugs into your ears.
