Im gna get some braided hoses for my K7, found them on two different sites, however one is considerably cheaper than the other.
http://www.bikebitzuk.co.uk/index.ph...oducts_id=1118 and http://www.brake-lines.co.uk/suzuki-...ake-lines.html My question is, will the first one fit my K7, the site doesnt go recent enough with the SVmodels. Cheers Dan |

not sure whether the different years will make any difference but the reason why one is cheaper than the other may be because the 1st one is a 2 line setup and the 2nd is a 3 line setup

Yeah, that is the default setting on that page, in the first drop down box you can change to 3 line set, and its only £70 as apposed to £109.
Also was confused why on the second site it said standard layout (3 front lines)......i thought there was 2 on the front one on the back?! or am i being bit thick? |

I think what it means is the 3 line setup is 1 line to the splitter block then 2 lines to each caliper. The 2 line setup is 2 lines straight from the master cylinder

Ah that makes more sense now.... That is the better option as well isn't it? The first site was a simple 2 set from the master cylinder, which would still leave an original line leading into the master.
(im not that mechanically minded please bare with me with the silly Q's) |

well iv got the 2 line setup which is 2 lines straight from the master cyl, the 3 line setup is basically what youve got on your bike now. There is a slight benefit for getting the 2 line system apart from cost but i cant remember
