Default Ordering an unknown part! (clutch lifter).

I need a new thingy bob!
At the bottom end of the clutch cable, down near your boots, there is a metal 'thing' that grips the end of the clutch cable, so when you pull the clutch in, it moves the spring.
Mine has almost rusted in two(!) and I need a new one, but as you can see, I've NO idea what it is.
Anyone got the technical name for it?

i think what you are referring to is riveted to the clutch lifter assembly (see part 17 in this diagram http://www.alpha-sports.com/suzuki_p...FQpgMAodNj8QKg ). if so then it only comes as part of the clutch lifter assembly. you could try fabricating something and riveting it on, but otherwise you'd have to replace the assembly

Is it the ' catapult ' shaped bit that bolts on & the spring also attaches to? A French site has it @ about 7 Euros ( + taxes + plus postage )

you would have to ring and check but if you buy 17 you might get 18 and 19 with it or you can get 18 and 19 as separates

No, I don't think so, as judging by the OP's description, I think he's after the square-boxed-shaped-thinga-mi-jig that the clutch cable end is slipped into, which is riveted to another metal plate thinga-mi-jig that has the spring attached to it.
