Default UK spec speedo required

Greetings, I am due to relocate to the UK from SA within a week and am shipping my K6 SV 650s. I found out that my bike is an Aussie spec bike when I tried the handbook instruction to switch the speedo from km/hr to mp/hr. It will not switch due to it being an Aussi spec bike. So I need a speedo that will read in mp/hr. Preferrably a UK one that will switch between mp/h and km/hr. Anyone have any ideas?

Quite expensive but probably cheaper than a new set of clocks, probably best to sell your clocks and buy some UK ones.

Or not bother. If you leave it as is you will soon get used to mentally converting the essential numbers such as 70MPH is just over 100 KPH etc.

I sold my SV650 clocks and bought the SV1000 clocks for 20 quid less so you could even make a profit!

Thanks for the link. New clocks are in the region of 360 pounds...... I am a little wary of buying used as there is no garantee

I just fitted a speedohealer to my German SV1000 - handy thing to have if you ever change the gearing too

Thanks for the info. Was it relatively easy to fit?

Very very easy - totally reversible too - fits all Suzukis so easier to find one and sell on in the future

I once had an imported bike with Kph clocks and it went through 3 MOT's without mention.
