Default Buying a bike - tyres on it

If you were buying a bike would you prefer at least one tyre (brand and model) that you liked, or a matching pair whatever brand and model that was.

Wouldn't be bothered about brand unless it was a Cheng Shin.

I'd prefer a matched pair

If I didn't like them after I'd ridden it for a while, I'd get some I did like

Prefer a matching pair but if the price was right I could always change them.

If the tread depth was low, then I'd be negotiating on price for those too.

TBH it isnt something that comes anywhere near my priority list when looking at a new bike. So long as there is plenty of tread left and I´m not going to have to change them the minute I get the bike.

Although dont take my advice as I clearly have problems in checking engine numbers to V5´s

Front & rear with TDIs showing proud but no uneven wear.
At least £250 off price & fit what I want.

It wouldnt bother me. But if they were mismatched or near the end of their life, thats something I'd be using to haggle the price down.

Y'all don't seem to like mismatched.

want to change my rear tyre and preferred (conti road attack) rear has come available cheaper than a matching D207e.

(got to keep an eye on the resale value)
