Only biker in the family?

A lot of the bikers I know are the son of a biker, or have a biking sibling or other half etc.

Are you the only one in your family that has a bike?

Son of a biker, sibling of a biker. Grandson of a biker. All on me father's side

My paternal Grandfather had motorbikes and 3 wheeler Morgans (the ones with the big V twin JAP engines stuck out the front) and my Dad had motorbikes up till I was about 5 years old. My adopted brother has had motorbikes for many years and my younger blood brother has had bikes in the past and is about to buy another one - probably an SV curvy!

I'm the only one in our family - I think the nearest I have to a biker relative is a 2nd or 3rd cousin or something.

Grandad was a biker but sadly no longer with us & died before I got into bikes so it's something I never got to share with him

My parents hated it when I did my bike test just over a year ago, having known a few people who have died over the years on them.

He was my sister's boyfriend brother. Lovely guy! But it doesnt help my case and I get pressured to sell it all the time...

I'm the only one... although my dad used to ride he's not exactly a biker

My dad was a mod and had a scooter with chrome and mirrors.
Cool times I bet too.

My dad has had bikes, but im really the only one who will go out for fun and pleasure.

My parents were so against it when I first started talking about it, but once I started riding they soon realised they were never going to change my mind, so are sort of ok with it now. My gran still hates it though

When my dad used to start about how dangerous it was, I would turn it back on him by saying "I don't tell you how bad smoking is for you etc". He couldn't really say much to that

Yeah, he's come back into biking after taking a bit of a vacation to bring us up. Now we're older, he's gotten back into it and got himself a KTM Adventure 990. Great bike, sounds like a beast and great fun to go pillion on.
