What cans fit a K8?
does anybody know what would fit an sv650 k8s sport pointy i:e bandit gsxr thunderace etc etc as am looking for a new end can but am unsure what size i need to get

hongman sorry my discription isint clear i am after a after market race can ( with road legal baffle ) but unsure if any other bike sizes would fit i know that on previous bikes that i have had that other make model bikes would fit ie: when i had my zx6r the after market cans for a 1200 bandit would also fit

Ah I see.
May I ask why you are asking if other cans for other bikes would fit? (I dont know the answer to this personally) Surely if you were after a new can you'd buy one specifically for your bike? Oh, unless you are buying second hand I guess. Still. Good luck. |

In answer to the OP's question, none & any.
As the can is not naturally detachable no other can just bolts on (excluding complete systems of course), this means the original system needs to be cut, after which just about any slip on of the right diameter would do, although without the correct link pipe it could result in some weird angles.... right gottcha cheers, so it's al about the link pipe for the sv and not actually the can it's self

The linkpipe for my can was clearly taken off a bike that wasn't an SV or didnt have a standard system on it.
I got the pipe modified at an exhaust component manufacturers for a tenner. If i saw another can I wanted instead but it was the wrong diameter for my link pipe, I'd just get it modified again |
