Been out taking pics for the first time in a while (well since the Chippy run rideout)
Only in the garden but got some ones I quite like, and usually some people on here enjoy too so hope I'm not pushing the limit ![]() Poppy Head ![]() Some stickley thing ![]() just for scale this is one of those tiny red little things that runs around concrete on hot days: ![]() Continuing the bug theme: (the depth of field is minimal but got the right bit in focus at least ![]() ![]() Profile of fly ![]() and a nice thistle to finish off ![]() ![]() I love macro, lets you see things in a whole new way. OMG!!! The bug ones are amazing. I remember being a kid and squishing those red bug things on the step of my grandads house. Never really thought about them since. They look gross close up, and to think I squished them with my fingers Uuururggggggghhhhhhhhhhh

To avoid spamming the photo area with my very random pictures I'll keep updating this thread.
Decided after a day of retail therapy yesterday that at 7:30 I'd nip out on the bike and get some pictures as the sun was going down. Had a bit of an idea what to do so headed off for north Wales.... The light was fading so I thought some HDR might work. Didn't expect it to work as well as it did though. ![]() Really pleased with it, could be better of course but I like it ![]() I also made use of my ND filter, had some long exposures, 6 minutes in twilight for some of them. ![]() adds a bit of drama to it I think. On the way back I decided to try and reprise some of my early traffic trails I'd done with my S3IS camera a few years ago. They turned out alright but not what I wanted somehow. I do like the texture though. ![]() ![]() Anyway, so that was my night, got home at 23:30! (late for me, I'm an old codger before my time) Thanks for looking, hope you enjoyed the pictures. |

The first one of the Duke of Lancaster looks great, hope you don't mind but have taken the original from your Flickr page and resized for one of my work monitors

![]() Thanks specialone, glad you like em. this place is my major audience (beyond my family of course, they get bored silly with em!) and hardly any of them feature bikes. What a well rounded forum we are ![]() |

Nipped out for a quick ride around the local area to test my new leathers and as the sun was setting decided to get a few pics, this was my favourite. Still need to process some so there might be some more but I'm not sure.
![]() Another HDR but it needed to be for the sunset really. |
