right did it today here goes-

1. Put bike on front and rear paddock stands.

2. I used ratchet straps and took the weight of the bike only just mind one either side of bike on rear pegs.

3. slacken top and bottom dog bones bolts 14 and 17 if i remember.

4. G clamp dog bones too each other stops them coming out while removing bolt and keeps bearings in place.

5. by keeping a small amount of weight on the paddock stand , probably just the weight of the swinging arm the bolts remove far easier, trust me if you don't have the swinging arm supported they are tight.

6.Grease up check bearings are good.

7. Fit dog bones to top bolt first tighten by finger only. next lift back wheel i actually Jack swinger a little , until bottom bolt hole lines up , pop bolt in finger tight nut.

8. take weight off swinging arm gentle low bike back on to rear paddock stand , take bike off stands , torque up bolts 74NM if i remember.

9. job nearly done.

10.My dog bones came from crescent Suzuki i rang them and asked if i should also drop the forks through the yokes their reply was yes , 4-5mm which strangely enough is the same as the extra length the dog bones are.

11. job doe stand back and enjoy , my wife has noticed a massive difference especially seem as she already had a lower seat fitted.

12. beer and fag time not compulsory.

REMBER YOU MUST HAVE THE BIKES WEIGHT SUPPORTED OR WHEN YOU TAKE THE BOLTS OUT THE BACK OF THE BIKE WILL HIT THE DECK !!!!!!

I USED RACHET STRAPS YOU COULD USE A COUPLE OF FRIENDS OR POSSIBLY A JACK UNDER THE ENGINE.

THIS IS ALSO THE SAME FOR FITTING SHORTER DOG BONE FOR THAT JACKED UP LOOK.

Nicely done

Hopefully a lowered seat will be enough for me
