Default Tip over switch

After an off the bike an't starting. Lights come on and the dash lights come on but when I turn the key to start it, it wont turn over. I by-passed the starter solenoid and it starts fine, it stays running when i start it this way, after turning it off it wont start though. also I gave it a push start and it started for about 3 sec and then cut off.

Is it the tip over switch and if so where is it on a SK5 2006 model?

No, tip over shuts fuel and has nothing to do with motor turning over. Check clutch switch.

when you say "doesn't start" what do you mean?

totally dead / just clicking from the relay/ turns over but won't fire?

was anything else damaged in the fall ?

the bike comes with 3 cutouts, the clutch switch, sidestand switch and the kill switch, have you checked those out yet ?

Cheers Mark.

When I say it doesn't start I mean that when I turn the key over and the head lights and dash lights come on, then I press the starter button, the head light dies down but the engine doesn't turn over. No noise comes off it. I have checked the kill switch and it off, the other two I must check.

Also when I drop it over, it was leaking fuel. I'll be checking out the sidestand switch and clutch over the wkend and i'll let you know how i get on.

Just had a chance to look at the clutch switch and that was the problem. Bike is working again, although its rough around the edges!

I'm a happy man, thanks for all the help guys.
