Rear set riser plates - cheaper alternative to full rearsets?

Anyone used these / seen these used before?

Any good, do you think? I'd love to be able to play around with the positioning but good rearsets seem so expensive!!!

You could borrow my set if you want. I can't fit them how I want to use them because of my high level exhaust.

Ive got the exact same set you're after. I found them great after scraping my feet and pegs on the road going round corners.
Mine are on a K9 sport and with the rear brake master cylinder it really limits the positions to 1! As far back and up as possible. Not so sure about the Curvy models though. I have also had to make a bracket to move the resevoir further back as the hose didnt want to bend that far.

lol My L0 (2010 pointy) is already lowered so I may not be scraping feet / pegs on the road :P But I'd be interested in trying out different positioning for my feet.

Instead of repositioning the reservoir, would it be possible to attach a longer hose?!

I'm too much of a cheap skate to spend money on a new hose just for that. I just put a couple of holes in a scrap strip of aluminium i had lying around.

I'm not sure if you'll be able to change positions with the stock pegs as the rear brake return spring does foul on the riser plates is used in any other positions.

Found this picture on SVRider shows what i mean so if you want to try the others you may have to cut the plates!


Take a look at the back of the stock pegs and see how close it is to the bolts and you may see what i mean if its anything similar to the K9 (Cant imagine they've changed much).

I will admit i prefer the higher and further back position of my feet now.

I am working on a set for all SV's and need a bike so that we can work out how to get around this exact problem, anyone willing to ride their bike to our workshop for the day would be great. I have someone lending me a curvy already just need an early pointy and a new pointy

ive got the standard ones jo that just have the one position and there brilliant as they make the ride so much cumfyer.

Unfortunately Lancashire's a bit far for me!

Badger - what do you mean by "standard ones"? Do you mean like the ones in the ebay link I posted?

Alot like them but non adjustable, theres only one pair of holes to put the pegs in....like so



also i found mine cheaper than svracer
