Right,
Well I'm planning on adjusting the position of my footpeg assembly with the magical adjuster plates matt yokes is planning on making. I believe there is plenty of play in the brake gubbins to move them back without an issue, but, is any extra work needed on the other side? IE, can the gear change linkage (or whatever it's called) be adjusted to accomodate for the footpeg assembly being positioned further back? Cheers, Toby |

Only if the distance that the footrest is moved is very slight, if it moves very far the gearchange rod will need to be altered.
Do not be attempted to use a rod the wrong length and turn the gearchange round on the shaft - the gearchange will be horrid. Always keep the angle between them as close to 90º as possible.

Also I ended up using a hydraulic brake light switch on the rear as the plate (not Matt's) fould the switch I think, was a long time ago now. You can get them from Goodridge etc. anyway, banjo with switch built in.
