You know I'm up for this, but have to say now that November is out for me.

Besides the trail centres discussed on FB (Penmachno, the Marin, LLandegla) and some DH tracks I know some longer cross country routes over rights of way.

I suppose decisions on where to base ourselves is dependant on how far folks are willing to travel into N. Wales.

End of October might be the best bet - I get back on the 19th so either the weekend of the 23/24th or 30/31st could be a goer - or even earlier in the week if people want to take a day or two off work to spend more time there, but that would get tricky if some can't make it???

I'll have a go!

Not bothered about dates etc, I just have to check the shifts I'm on.

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Now this is interesting. My only suggestion though, could camping be a last resort? How about finding a bunk house etc as it is too damn cold by then. Plus when muddy and tired, proper shower and chill out area would be amazing.

However, count me and Lily in on a maybe basis. Although, might have to ask if anyone has a loan bike as Lily's is only a hybrid and wouldn't handle much more than some gravel.

Also, I haven't ridden off road much for a long time, but should be a bit fitter with riding to work by then.

Updated 1st post with list of folks who've replied on here

Drew, I'm cool with either bunkhouse or camping, so if folks aren't keen on tenting it I'm more than happy somewhere warm

As for trails, I've got a set of Kenda Nevagals you're more than welcome to use, lots of tread and more grip than anyone could need!!

We'll have to arrange what folks want to do, looks like there's plenty to get on with from downhill to easy going trails, would be nice to get everyone doing something they enjoy...

And don't worry about being unfit, I'll have just spent three weeks eating good food and drinking too much so I'll be in desperate need of some exercise

Well bunkhouse is no problem, but we will need to get firmed up on numbers PDQ. There are several around here that would suit. Alternatively, if numbers are not too many, I'm happy for everyone to crash at mine.

There are proper mountain bikes for hire in Betws-y-Coed, LLandegla and Coed-y-Brenin if one cannot be borrowed Drew, cost is pretty reasonable AFAIK.

Cool, hiring might be a good idea.

You get my vote for bunking at yours!!! Was a good laugh last time we did that!!! I really enjoyed your little local pub.
